For over 10 years, Research Diets has been adding PLX compounds into our purified diets for researchers around the world. Most researchers prefer adding the compound into our OpenSource Purified Diets because of the nutritional stability (1) and improved efficacy (2) of this base diet compared to a grain-based diet. We have in stock both PLX5622 (free base form) and the AIN-76A Rodent Diet with 1,200 ppm PLX5622 (see formula for D19101002S) but you’re still welcome to use a different source of PLX5622 if you prefer. Please note, we can add the PLX5622 into any of our diets based on your research goals.

The current turnaround time for D19101002S (or any customized version using a different base diet) is 5-7 business days and 2-3 weeks if irradiation is required. We hope that by stocking the compound and this specific diet, it will reduce your cost for the compound, help eliminate the time spent sourcing the compound, and reduce the turnaround time for the diet.
