Hyeran Jang, Ph.D. Project Manager and Scientist
Dr. Jang received her Ph.D. in Nutrition Science from Tufts University in Boston, MA where she studied nutritional epigenetics using various folate- and methyl-sources deficient models in vivo and in vitro. Hyeran then joined Boston University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital for her postdoctoral fellowship where she studied how environmental exposures during early developmental periods, including sex steroids and nutrition status, can permanently change the physiological process (i.e., neonatal programming). After graduating from Seoul National University and Tufts University, she conducted numerous collaborative research projects with dietary supplements companies by establishing preclinical research projects and liaising between industry and academic laboratories. Her broad knowledge and comprehensive experiences in nutrition research and experimental protocols provides her with strong credentials to support researchers on their study design and diet formulation.
